The 2014 Ohio Latino Education Summit will be held on March 5, 2014 at the Ohio Union, at the Ohio State University.
Themed “Closing the Achievement Gap,” this year’s Summit features a keynote address by Dr. Samuel Betances, an inspirational advocate of diversity. A research-based panel of education scholars and a policy-based panel of state leaders will engage multiple perspectives on Latino education. Following the Summit, there will be a public talk by award-winning news anchor Maria Hinojosa. The talk begins at 5pm in the Performance Hall of the Ohio Union.
