Mujer Latina Today is a digital media platform dedicated to sharing inspiring stories, interviews, community news, podcasts, and resources for Latinas and the broader community. Founded by Lorena Mora-Mowry, the site highlights leadership, culture, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and the voices shaping today’s Latina experience.
Lorena interviewed nearly 2,000 Latinos, including leaders in various sectors, for her YouTube channel, Facebook page, and Latina Today podcast. Her stories resonate with everyday Latinos and inspire future generations. She fosters understanding and valuable lessons by encountering diverse Latino faces and voices. Lorena has created a close-knit community for Latinos across social media platforms.
Lorena Mora-Mowry, a Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA Advisory Board member for over five years, became a board member of the Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA Foundation’s Pillar of Education in 2025.
Lorena has received numerous awards, including the 2010 Distinguished Hispanic Ohioan Award, the 2010 LULAC Ohio Women’s Hall of Fame, the 2012 YWCA – Alliance for Immigrant Women Award, the 2015 YWCA Cincinnati – Volunteer Service Award, the 2016 LULAC Cincinnati – Hispanic Owned Business Award, and the Pillars of Esperanza 2025. These distinctions highlight her service and leadership in strengthening the Hispanic community.
