Invitation to two upcoming events:

The first one Jan. 27th at 10 am at Adelante where The Toledo Design Center will give a presentation.

The purpose of the meeting:

Since late 2014 the Toledo Design Center has been working with representatives of the Broadway Corridor Coalition to facilitate a planning process for the Old South End. The goal is to create a consensus vision that can be officially adopted as the guiding Master Plan for the continued re-development of the neighborhood. Some initial Plan recommendations, built on scores of stakeholder meetings including four Public Forums, are starting to emerge  but need to be thoroughly vetted. Therefore, over the next few months we are seeking continued input from neighborhood organizations to refine The Plan.

The second meeting will be next week Jan. 29th at 10 am at Adelante for a Latino Local Conversation on Health:

The Purpose of the meeting:

A meeting to ask? Has Latino health improved for our families since 2011? Has the Affordable Care Act improved health conditions of Latino families in Toledo?

Your information and input is valuable. It will be included in a State Report about the health needs of Latino communities in Ohio.  We will address Latino priority health needs in Capacity Building, Services and Infrastructure.

I hope to you see next week , your input is of importance.

Thank you,

Guisselle
