Diana Campoamor, President of Hispanics in Philanthropy talks with Lorena Mora-Mowry about how her passion for public service and social change began in Cuba, the Hispanics in Philanthropy’s long and successful work and their new initiative HIPGive, an online crowd funding platform that will support Latino Projects Across the U.S. and Latin America.
HIPgive.org ‘s website officially went live April 16 with a contest for matching grant funds of more than $30,000. Twenty-three organizations will compete April 16-May 11 to have funds raised on HIPGive matched for their organization.
