On January 2013 six women with different expertises decided to create a workforce named “Domestic Violence Initiative (DVI): Identifying The Latina Needs in Cincinnati”to assess the needs of Latina women as it pertains to domestic violence.

The DVI team would like to invite you to the presentation of the results gathered from this initiative on June 6, 2013 at 12:00 pm at the YMCA building (898 Walnut St. Cincinnati OH 45202).

This report is the result of a field investigation where 25 Latina women from the Greater Cincinnati area identified their needs in legal, psychological, social and media areas.

For the first time, Latina women had an opportunity to share their experiences and realities as survivors and witnesses of domestic abuse. The results of the report are broken down per area of discipline. This report provides an opportunity to evaluate and channel the efforts to assist Latina women to end the cycle if domestic violence.
