CINCINNATI — Every year, Cincinnati Opera presents a diverse series of informative and entertaining Opera Raps lectures in the months leading up to, and during, the summer performance season. These community programs are created to enlighten and engage opera devotees and newcomers alike, and feature conversations on topics related to Cincinnati Opera’s 2016 Summer Festival.

One Giant Leap: Puccini’s Tosca

Puccini’s tragic and powerful Tosca is celebrated for its gorgeous melodies and dramatic plot twists. Join Cincinnati Opera Managing Director Chris Milligan for a closer look into the Sardou play that inspired the opera, the work’s performance history, and why you don’t want to miss our stunning new period production of this beautiful classic.
